WEI’S electrical department modified existing electrical conditions to facilitate replacement of HVAC equipment, designed by our mechanical team. Electric design also included new hallway lighting layouts, performance of vault current analysis, and fuse coordination studies for existing power systems. Our team coordinated with Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Spine & Nuero Pain Specialists New Office

WEI provided HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Design for the new 14,908 SF Fire Station. HVAC design included Dx split system, heat pumps with dedicated outdoor air system to condition ventilation air. Gas fired infrared heat and high-volume low speed fans were utilized in the Engine bays. Plumbing systems utilized standard commercial fixtures, gas fired water heater, and compressed air. Fire sprinkler design included wet pipe system.

Jackson Hospital 3rd Floor Renovations

WEI’s Electrical Department coordinated with owner for installation of new branch panelboard for powering new HVAC equipment to improve patient room air quality. Generated patient room lighting layout to improve building efficiency. Expanded existing lightning protection system to protect new rooftop equipment. Performed fault current analysis and fuse coordination studies for existing power system. Coordinated with Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

WEI provided mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design. Mechanical design included split dx units with 100% OAU for humidity control, added a hood and related fans for a kitchen, and utilized heaters along with high volume low speed fans in the apparatus bays. Plumbing included gas water heaters, as well as drain trough for an extractor. Gas was routed to water heaters as well as heaters in the apparatus bay. Fire protection design included a wet-pipe sprinkler system.

WEI designed new 208/120V electrical service and emergency back-up generator for new fire station facility. Generated layouts for high-bay lighting and performed lighting photometrics calculations. Generated receptacle and lighting layouts for general living and cooking areas. Provided electrical connections for maintenance bay equipment and coordinated with mechanical design to interlock HVAC systems with life safety systems.

WEI provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for the new 22000 SF Maintenance and Logistics Building. Mechanical systems designed include wet pipe sprinkler, DX HVAC, vehicle exhaust, radiant heating, laundry, domestic water, natural gas, compressed air, sanitary waste and vent, and vehicle wash systems.
