WEI provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler Design services for the new 40,000 SF facility.\u00a0<\/h4>\n

HVAC Design included an air-cooled chiller plant with gas fired boiler. Air distribution throughout the building utilized variable volume air handling units with single duct terminal units with reheat. Noise calculations were completed for all areas and appropriate noise control measures were incorporated into the design.\u00a0 Digital controls were utilized for the HVAC systems with a web-based interface. Holding cells and similar areas included secure air devices and bars inside ductwork. The parking garage and sally port included ventilation and CO alarm systems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/h4>\n

Plumbing Design included low water consumption commercial grade fixtures, domestic water distribution, sanitary waste and vent, and natural gas.\u00a0 Penal fixtures were used in holding cells and similar areas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/h4>\n

Fire Protection Design included wet pipe for the main building, dry pipe for the parking garage, and standpipes for each stairwell. WEI provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Designs for the renovated 58,000 SF building.<\/h4>\n

HVAC Systems reused several existing air handling units, the boiler, chiller, cooling tower, and pumps. The existing mechanical systems were adapted from their original design to the new layout with new ductwork, air handling units, and variable volume terminal units. The existing digital control system was utilized with a new web based front end.\u00a0<\/h4>\n

Plumbing Design accounted for restroom renovations and reconfigured for new commercial low water consumption fixtures.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Fire Protection Design included wet-pipe Sprinkler System.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n
