Watford Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the new Panama City Beach Police Department facility. The building encompasses approximately 15,920 square feet and was constructed with an overall construction value of $4 million.

Mechanical systems include high-efficiency air-cooled DX heat pump systems serving office areas and sleeping quarters, along with 100 percent outside air units to support ventilation requirements. Apparatus bays were designed with infrared heating and dedicated ventilation systems. HVAC controls include programmable thermostats and time switches for ventilation fans.

Plumbing systems were designed with commercial-duty, low water consumption fixtures. Fire protection systems include wet-pipe sprinkler systems designed in accordance with NFPA 13.
